Bake Sale Results

A big thanks to all of you who were able to come to Jana's volleyball game Wed night and also support the bake sale. They raised $ l,874.00 for Amani Baby Cottage! Tha'ts 374.00 more than last year, so that's AWESOME! Great job Jana!

Bake Sale

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to update all of you about the bake sale the volleyball team is having for the orphanage I went to the last two summers. It's going to be next week Wednesday, October 27. This is conveniently the night of our Northwestern game. So if you guys want to see an intense game of volleyball, support Amani, and eat some really good treats you should definitely try to come! :) I totally understand that it is a week night and that everyone is busy with lots of games and work up there too. But I just thought I would let you know. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the nice fall weather! I'm hoping it lasts for awhile so I can come visit Chandler and not be so nervous about the weather that I have to leave early....oh wait, I think that was my parents.:) Hope to see you all Wednesday! Second try...

I had alot more great pictures to show you but for some reason they aren't able to get into the blog. I try to put one picture in and I get two or three of the same picture - I try to put a certain picture in and the one I "click" on doesn't get put into the blog but the picture next too it does. I AM CONFUSED AND HAVE GIVEN UP!

Mom and I went to Worthington on Saturday to watch Heather and Jeremy play in a tournament. I have tried to get the on the blog tonight but for some reason things aren't working out that way --------so I am going to go to bed and try it again tomorrow.

Hello everyone,

I have not written on the blog for a long time, so thought I should do it once again. Sad to say, but I really don't have much news to share. :)

We are having beautiful fall weather here these past weeks and Den and I enjoy our long walks down at Red Rock Dam on the Sunday afternoons that we are around.

Jody and Shane keep busy with work, Shane's class and coed volleyball games. They are gone this weekend for a mini vacation, so I hope the weather cooperates and is nice for them. They came up to see Jana play vb at Sioux Falls a number of weeks ago, so that was really nice to see them again.

Scott is keeping busy with work, class and coaching soccer and now flag football. Their soccer team never won a game last year and this year they won 4, tied 2 and lost 1, so that was a nice improvement. His flag football team won all three of their games last weekend and they have another game this next Tuesday. We get to see him once in awhile when we stop in on our way to or from Jana's games at Dordt, so that's nice.

We are keeping pretty busy going to Jana's vb games and we've enjoyed seeing some of you at them. They are having a good year with a record of 25-5 (I think). Jana is busy with vb, class and took on a work study job as a Teacher's Assistant in the Psych department, so she does not have a lot of spare time.

Den and I have nothing planned tonight, so we are going on a "date" to Des Moines to watch a movie. Should be fun and relaxing.

Soccer tournament

I went to SW on Tuesday and watched Travis in the first game of Soccer tournament. THey won and will play again on Saturday. However, this time Mom and I will be in Worthington watching the CCS play in a soccer and volleyball tournament so pictures of Jeremy and HEather will be coming at a later date.
