Christmas at the motel

Thanks to all our family for coming and joining us at the motel this year. We missed you Shane ,Jody, Erin and Kate. Sorry you could not make it but we understand that it just doesn't work out sometimes!!  This has been our tenth year --missing only one year due to a snow storm!!!As our family grows from year to year we know that this will happen more often that some of you can't make it every year and we understand that. Thanks to our children and spouses,ten grandchildren and some have spouses  and great grandchildren for the love and concern you have shown us in this past years. We pray we can do this a few more years yet the Lord willing. Thanks for the emails, blogs and pictures you send so we can keep up to date on the growing family. This means so much to us. Last of all we praise God for the wonderful Christian  family He has blest us with and praying it can continue on down from generation to generation. We love you all. Dad and Mom/ grandpa and grandma/and great grandpa and grandma Vander Woude.

So good to see all of you this weekend! We had a great time playing cards and getting to catch up with you all. Blanket and Baptism

Hi All,

We just finished up a fun weekend with baptism for Caleb so I thought I should post some pictures of the event. Thanks to those of you who came to witness the church service. We feel so blessed and are very thankful for Caleb and the family/friend support we have here in Edgerton.

I also wanted to thank Vonda for the beautiful blanket she made Caleb. We love the way the colors turned out! I tried to do a little photo shoot with Caleb on the blanket. It is one of our favorites to curl up in!
