Hi everyone, I finally got a new camera :) so tried it out at Janas game in Mitchell last night. They won 3-0. I have alot to learn with this camera but the nice thing is my boss is an avid photographer and does all the sports pictures for Lincoln high school in Sioux Falls so he said would help me with it. So, it was fun being able to "catch" Jana in the action of the game.

Now the plan is tomorrow night afterwork travel to Adrian to watch Deidra play volleyball and then Friday afternoon/evening to Edgerton to watch Jason play soccer against the team that Scott is helping coach :) FUN....

Saturday, the SW soccer team travels to Fairmont, Minnesota to play. I don't know if I will be going to that or not but you can bet if I go I will be posting pictures :)

The Vander Woude Christmas

First of all Sunday evening when 4 of our kids were home we decided to go for the weekend of the 17th and 18th. of Dec. We realize not all of the grandkids can come and we will have that from year to year but we feel that we at least we want to have all 5 of our kids there.I drove to Worthington to make reservations at the Holiday Inn Express like we have done in the past. First thing was to ask if the party room was available for sat. the 18th of Dec.And the answer was no it is not!!!So i thought o k now what do i do!!Went to 2 other motels and one had no party room and the other looked not so clean and that one was also very old. So i did a little shopping and came home. I then called all 3 boys and asked them to come over at 7:00 and we could discuss the problem!!!They came and Loren got on the internet and cell phone and called Luverne and Brandon.No such luck. Now the surprise comes!!!!!!! It will not be in Mn!!! Not in South D.but in Iowa!!!!! Guess Where????? Yes it will be in Sioux Center at the Holiday Inn Express . They have a party room , swim pool and hot tub.Loren made the reservations so it is all set for Friday and Sat. Dec.17 and 18. check in time is [3:00 i believe] on Friday and check out time is Sunday morning by 11:00.

Friday night supper you are on your own to eat out or order in. Sat. night supper grandpa and grandma will do the pizza again like we do every year. Please bring about a 10.00 dollar gift for the gift exchange. See you there Lord willing. Love grandpa and grandma
