The V W 2015 Christmas at the Hotel is now history. Hope everyone is feeling better and back to there normal routine of life and its every day activities. Want to thank those that came to celebrate but felt bad for those who could not make it.
So nice to see everyone [young and older] interacting with each other-- visiting, playing games, entertaining the little ones or I should say the little ones entertaining us!! The swim pool volleyball teams looks like they were having a blast and is always fun to watch. Thanks Delaine for the fun new game you brought along. Hint Hint---Any one for next year????
It's such a blessing [as grandparents and with Gods help] to see our children's children and their children walking in the light of GODS word. We feel so blest and GOD is so good.
Want to thank you for the cards, pictures and gifts you gave us but also for your prayers, love and concern you have for us. Here again we are so blest.
I so enjoy my computer. Am so thankful to everyone for keeping us informed as to the happenings in your families lives. Love the emails--comments and pictures to keep us updated. Especially pictures of the great grand children!! [Thanks to Loren for always helping me out when I have computer problems --it's not the computer so much as it is me--not knowing how to figure out things or do things!!!!]
May you all have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year in 2016.Love to all .

Oh no, it's broke!
Hi everyone,
for those of you who don't know I fell on Thanksgiving day and injured my right ankle. I thought I had sprained it really bad so I went on crutches and stayed off of it the best I could. it was really swollen but didn't really cause me much pain. Yesterday the swelling started to go down although it is still obviously swollen and this was the first time I could tell there was one area of the ankle that caused great tenderness to touch. Today showed no improvement from yesterday so I felt I should go in and have it checked. I was walking at work due to I did not want to take the crutches out in the ice and snow and have no pain in the ankle. Anyway as you can tell by the title of this post I went into the doctor today and he felt it, talk to me about it, examined it, and did range of motion exercises and told me he thought it was a really bad sprain but wanted x-rays just to make sure. I had x-rays taken and then met with the doctor again and he walks into the room and shakes his head and said you broke your ankle. So I am in a walking boot for the next two weeks and I'm only able to take it off if I shower or ice the ankle otherwise he wants me in it at all times. he does think that the ankle can heal this way but wants me to go back and see the doctor in two weeks and be reevaluated. if the ankle does not heel in that time I will require surgery. The bad part about all this is it's my good ankle and on my good leg. My previous knee surgery, 4 foot surgeries, fractures and sprained ankles have ALWAYS been on my left leg, ankle or foot. I don't have feeling in most of my left foot due to all the surgeries so walking right now is kind of comical. I'm choosing to find the humor in the situation.
Love ya all, Vonda
