WHAT???? yes we have 4 inches already and it is still snowing.It is 7:00p m and grandpa is doing his regular evening duty--- soaking in a tub of hot water for an hour. I am ready to sit and relax and read my book. Thanks Danielle for posting those pictures that you took of your weekend at the wedding.I'm sure Zoe slept well that night.Jeremy just stopped in a minute he had been playing in the snow with the neighbor boy and he was already hoping school would be late start in the morning!! we will see. love g grandma v w

I just got on Dordt's volleyball web site and they have the game listed as being played at 6:00pm on Saturday vs. St. Ambrose.

Hi everyone,
Hope things are going well! I just wanted to thank Sharla for all of the amazing salsa and bars she has made me this year! I definitely could have eaten it all by myself, but I decided to share with some of my friends. One night all of the guys in Mark's room and a room of junior girls who I am friends with had a little part with some of Sharla's chips and salsa. It was delicious as always...Sharla you are pretty much famous around Dordt with all my friends. We decided to take a little picture to show you our appreciation.:) So thanks from me and all my friends!

It worked this time !!!!!!

As you can see someone did a test. that was me. I have been trying several times last week and this week to get on the V W blog and i even called Vonda tonight to see what i was doing wrong. I attempted at least 10 times tonight and nothing worked.Finally after vonda suggested to shut the computer down and restart it ---IT WORKED!!!!And she said she had that same problem awhile back.
So now what do i write about. Grandpa and i are doing so o k. I have been to a Chiropractor 2 times a week for 3 weeks. I was having quite a bit of pain in my left hip the last while and also a little in both of my knees. She has helped me some but my knees still bother me.Getting old is no fun as grandpa told me that a long time ago!!!! We both see the Doctor Dec.8 for follow-up of our June appointments.So will mention this to him then.
Ever since school started i have been taking in all the home games of the grandkids -soccer and volleyball at grade school,high school and college.Grandpa has gone to some of them but soccer is played after school and those are working hours.Jana is now in Tournament play and hopefully we can see a game yet.Soon the basketball games begin ya!!!
I still go work in the thrift store in worthington every 3rd wed of the month . We go with 5-8 people from Chandler. It's always fun and good fellowship with the men and women that work there.Course we eat out for dinner either Burger King or Heerdes. It's always fun to come home with some good bargins!!!

We got a decline from the student that we called so now the search comm. can do some more searching. But we do really like the retired pastor we have now and he said he would stay as long as we don't have a regular pastor.

I cut lawn this morning and also all the leavesthat have been falling the last few weeks. this afternoon i went to Edgerton to get some groceries.Sure is the pits with no store in town.We just need to plan ahead now and if we are going to bake we need to look at the recipe first to see if we have all the ingredients or else we don't make it!!!!then have to go to plan B.

Last friday evening we had the chandler chr. grade school supper and donation sale. Nov. 19 is the pork loin supper and donation sale at S W C H.Those are always fun evenings that we look forward to.

Quite often on sunday evening after church we have company over for lunch and then play a game of rook or other games.We also get invited back a lot and enjoy that too.

Monday afternoon we went to uncle Harry's.I took lunch along as they don't get out a lot and they have lots of company so she appreciated that i did that.We had our big lunch at5:00 and they talked us into staying until 7;30 so it was 7;45 when we got home. But they so appreciated our coming.Uncle Harry is 92 and Aunt Opal is 79. They are both in o k health. I think it's time i sign off and fold a load of cloths. Love you all and may God grant you all good health is our prayer.Just thank God for all the jobs that everyone has---what a blessing that we are all able to work.Goodnight. love Grandma
