Hello everyone. We got Scott moved into his new apartment on Saturday. Scott had lots of family and friends to help, which we appreciated very much! The weather cooperated and we had great day of moving Scott in and made some special memories in the process! I will try to attach some pictures of one unique memory. The saying,"if there's a will there's a way" was quite true on Saturday. No matter how many different angles we tried to get Scott's couch into his apartment, it would not work. Then Loren came up with the ingenious idea of hoisting it up to Scott's 3rd level balcony door. We had a few skeptics, but Loren and Scott weren't ready to give up. As you can see we did get it up and into his apartment!!! I think we had a few spectators from the other apartments watching from their windows as we did it. :)
It may look like the "old" men at the top are doing all the work, but Scott and JT did a lot of pushing and lifting to get it started. Then the couch got caught on the 2nd floor balcony railing and JT had to lift Scott up so that Scott could get it loose. Quite the deal!
As you can see I also did a my part.....I was ready to catch it if fell down. :)
When you guys get to Sioux Falls sometime, I know Scott would love to have you drop in to see his new apartment and visit. His address is 3510 West 53rd St. / Apt 305. It's right by Sertoma Park with the bike trails and the Butterfly House.
