Here I go again....................

Well, once again I have ANOTHER new job.  I left Good Samaritan Society because my insurance more then doubled so I went to CCB.  The starting pay was lower but I could make it up with my commission and the insurance was better and cheaper.  However, awhile back they informed us they were changing/stopping the commission as the collectors were making to many mistakes on legal paperwork.   So it was having to be redone by the legal department before it could be sent on or before the court cases were held.

So I started looking again as I knew I couldn't make it work on the straight wages they were paying.  I have since found a job for AAA collections (known as Triple A) here in town and I feel it has all worked out for the best as the starting wage is much higher and I still get commission/bonus.  So even if I have a bad month I will be fine with the starting wage.  I will be still working one night a week BUT will have to work 2 Saturday mornings a month.   The good thing is though, we do not have to work Saturdays during the summer.  The company is also located closer then CCB so the drive isn't as far.  If you are heading South on Minnesota and at the cornier of Minnesota and 41st (turn left/east) onto 41st and go for a couple of blocks and then turn right and drive a couple of blocks and that is where I will be working.  Sorry, I don't have the street names memorized.

Anyway, back to my story..... I was notified on Monday I got the job, so I told my bosses that I was giving my 2 week notice and they walked me out!  I did not see that one coming.  The large corporations here in town do that all the time, but smaller companies tend to let you stay and work your final weeks.  The good news is, I got 2 weeks paid vacation.  They were worried with all the changes there that I would start talking about the benefits of AAA collections and that they might lose more collectors to that company.  I am starting the new job on the 24th and I hope this is my last job change for a long, long, lllooonngg time.

Love ya all, Vonda
