Family vote....

I had my mammogram on Monday and had good new. Everything looked good and I could go back to the yearly checkups.

However, on Tuesday I went to the dentis and had 2 teeth removed. That makes 5 teeth total (not including the wisdom teeth) i have had removed. I go back in next Tuesday to have the stitches removed and then I will have to decide a plan of action. 1.) have a partial plate made to replace the teeth that were removed and then continue with visits correcting the issues with the other teeth (which there are many issues) 2.) have a bridge put in (just like the one i had a few years ago when my other teeth were removed) and continue with visits correcting the issues I have with the other teeth or 3) become like Mom (love ya Mom) and have all lthe teeth pulled and wear dentures.

I know which way I am leaning but would love to hear other opinions both pro and con on the matter.

Hey vonda glad your result of the mammogram were good!! My vote or suggestions is to pull them all and be done! Arvin is not fond of his partials, but the rest of his teeth are good, so that was best for him. take care Delaine

Yea for the good results!! But I'm not sure i can vote about your teeth issue cause I don't know much about that. I do want to know what Grandma says cause she knows the most about what dentures are like.

Great news!! I am with my mom on this one. Pull them all and be done with it! But, Jody has a point: Grandma may be the most knowledgable in regard to dentures...

When i was growing i had lots and lots of tooth aches--was always at the dentist. Many a times an abscess would form causing my face to swell and the pain would be unbearable.Had lots of fillings put in and after time they would fall out.So when i was 18 i had them all pulled and got my denture and have never been sorry. I would never go back to my old teeth with all the problems and pain i had and the expence that went along with it!!!!It was never ending---always one step ahead and 2 steps back!!!!!grandma

Hi Vonda,

I'm with Jody..... I don't know enough about it to give an opinion.

I'm sure if you are leaning a certain direction that you have put a lot of thought into it and know what is best for you.

Love,
Arla
