Dad - Grandpa

Dad had his angiogram done today. He was taken out of the room at 1:45 pm and the doctor found mom and I in the waiting room at 3:15 and said "good news" the stints all looked good and he can go home today. He said the stints did have some scar tissue on them but nothing out or the ordinary or to be worried about. Dad does have some veins with 30% - 50% blockage but we were again told this is nothing to be concerned about till they reach 75% blockage. They did the procedure by putting a needle into Dads right wrist instead of his groin and we were very happy with that as had they used the groin he would have be requitred to lay flat on his back for 4 hours and this is quite uncomfortable for Dad and causes him pain in his hips and knees. The only side effect of using the wrist is Dad is unable to use his right hand for the next 48 hours. The doctor told us Dad should be going for walks to stay in shape and we explained he has difficulty wiht long walks again due to the hip issues. He then suggested they take up swimming again. Dad has an appointment again in 3 months. Mom if i missed anything please add in the comment section.

For those of you who know him, Mom and I did stop in and say hi to Ive and Sandy Schellhaas. He looks good for what he has been thru and the plan is for him to go home on Friday.

Jody and Shane happy belated anniversary. Did you do anything special? How are you feeling Jody? Keeping you and my great niece in my prayers.

Love ya all,
Vonda
