Some of you might have heard about my latest adventure and others not so I will update you all. Friday afternoon, I went kayaking down the Sioux River with some friends from work and had an absolute blast (even though I tipped the kayak and fell in :).. The two ladies I went with have never kayaked before and one of them could not swim. I told them I am no expert but it's alot of fun. So the river was going at a decent pace so we didn't even have to paddle much could jsut sit back and enjoy the scenery. So anyway, there are two sets of rapids on the river we made it through the first one no problem. The second one I went down first again and told the lady who didn't know how to swim to wait till I was through it then go down. Well, I was just about to the end of it and I heard a scream so on instinct I turned around (and obviously turned to quickly) and I tipped the kayak. So I came up laughing becasue what else could I do - the two ladies had made it through fine. The one had just screamed out of fear, fun excitement ....eand was just fine. I on the other hand, was in the river....lol So we emptied my kayak, got back in and continuyed down the river with alot of fun memories and they both said they will be kayaking again. I now have a cold due to my swim in the river - so stayed home and recupperated instead of goign to Chandler. It was fun, and can't wait to go again. Vonda
