We had a blast in Wisconsin and it was so nice to see Shane and Jody's new house and of course FINALLY meet Erin. We left Thursday and got there that afternoon and went out to Buffalo Wild W Wings that night and then to Dave and Busters.
I traveled about 30 minutes on Friday morning and met up with highschool classmate and friend Melanie Vis for breakfast. It was s0 much fun to see her again, During this time jody, Erin, Heather and Jeremy went to one of thedir neighbors houses and swam in their indoor pool. When I got back, we packed lunches and then went to "grandma Mary" (a friend of theirs from church" and swam in their outdoor pool. So fun, relaxing and just had a great time hanging out together. Jody left with Erin for her nap time and Jeremy, Heather and I stayed for a few hours. That night Shane grilled hamburgers and we just hung out at thier house.
Saturday - was 6 FLAGS!!!!!! I had fun, it was warm and alot of walking so I went on a few rides but mainly stayed in the area where the kids were on the rides and then would walk with them to the next area. the lines were not bad at all, and aI think the tally was about 17 rides and that included about 2 hours in the water park. My feet are still feeling it as the blisters are starting to heal, but i would do it all over again in a heeart beat.
We traveled home on Sunday. Thanks Shane and Jody! (and of course Loren and Sandy for trusting me with you vehicle since mine was in the shop)
While at Shane and Jody's we heard that great news of Janas engagement. CONGRATS, JANA!
Now it will be camping this weekend with some of the nephew and nieces. I will put pictures in shutterfly of that as well, for now you can check shutter fly for the wisconsin pictures.
