Merry Christmas

I [mom or grandma as some call me] am ending a tradition that i started in 1983 by sending out a Christmas letter each year. However, to replace that i will send a note on the family blog.

To our children and grandchildren --grandpa and i would like to say ''thank you" for all the love, prayers and concern you have shown to us in this past year. Thanks for the Christmas cards and pictures and also keeping us informed all year through the emails and pictures on the blog. We so appreciate that!!What would we do without family--or computer!!! We are so blest!! God has been so good---even in the not so good times over the years---He is always there for us.There are times we must be reminded we need to submit to His will ---it's not always the way we want it but we must pray "Thy will be done."

Last but not least we thank God for the many blessings He has given us over the years. And one of the many is ---we thank Him for our christian family.God over the years has been working in our children's lives and now in our grandchildren and soon our to be great-grandchildren lives. We thank Him for giving us 4 wonderful God fearing in-laws. We as parents tryed to set an example in our daily walk in life and with Gods help and many many prayers we can see our children and our children's children following in the ways of the Lord. What a blessing!!!

May you all have a blessed Christmas and it is our prayer that God will be with us all as we journey into the year 2009. Love Dad and Mom or grandpa and grandma
