Pella update

Hi everyone,

Little update on things in Pella.

I think Scott is getting along really well after his surgery, of course that's my opinion as I'm not the one hobbling around on crutches. He's getting bored so if you want to give him a call, I'm sure he'd appreciate it. He sleeps at his apartment, but spends a lot of the day around here. Scott's next appointment is Monday in Ames and I know he's hoping to get off the crutches after that, so hopefully that's what the Dr. tells him. :)

Jana is finished with her classes and has exams M-W of next week. Den has a meeting in Carroll, IA next Wed. so I will pick him up there and then we will drive up to Sioux Center to pack Jana up Wed late afternoon. Not sure if jana is driving her car home yet Wed night or coming home on Thursday. Jana is also having three friends here for Tulip Time! Should be a fun time. Hopefully, the weather cooperates.

Jody and Shane come in late Thursday night! Tulip Time is Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Mother's Day on Sunday, so Lord willing it will be a great week next week! I had all the kids home at Easter and for my birthday and now for Tulip Time and Mother's Day. I feel very blessed!

Saturdayof Tulip Time all of us but Scott, since he's on crutches, are going to help set the World's Record for the most people dancing in wooden shoes at one time. The count is up to almost 1,500 people. The old record was 475.
