Vonda update

It has been a good day.  I slept a ton this weekend and feel like I am over the "surgery" hump.  I had lots of family visit me this week which has been really nice and helped pass the time.  The folks were here the day of surgery and mom was going to stay the night but I felt good and told them both to go home as didn't make much sence with the cost of gas, for Dad to come get mom the next day.  Loren and Sandy were in town so they stopped by later that night.

I have had visits and phone calls from friends to so that definately makes the time go bye faster.  Scott was gone to Pella for Thanksgiving weekend, and I decided to stay in Sioux Falls rather then travel to Chandler.   The folks came to SF on Saturday for the afternoon and Mom helped with the laundry and a few things around the condo, and then Arvin, Delaine, Jess, Darci and Deidra stopped by later in the afternoon too.  Sunday afternoon Leon and Sharla also stopped bye.  Thank you for the visits as it definately helped the weekend go by faster.

Today, I ventured outside for the first time since surgery.  (I still have the drain in place and I could finally get my pants closed with out it being to sore :) and being able to hide the drain.  So I went to walgreen bought some more dressing, bandaids, and then did another quick stop and came home.  It felt good.  Now just waiting till Wednesday when I can have the drain removed.
