Hi everyone,

Jana's team finished the season with a really good run in the touraments, especially since our point guard was out due to an ACL injury. We got beat at Sub-State. The gal that filled in at point guard had a lot of turn overs. We can only wonder "what if" we had had our regular point guard, but that doesn't change things. Oh well....they had a great year and Jana played some great games at the end.

I don't think Jana will be playing softball this summer, so I think all our years of high school sports are finished. :(

It was so nice Scott could come with us to Milwaukee last weekend to see Jody and Shane. Jana couldn't come as she had practice on Saturday. We drove in terrible weather all night Friday night. We left at 11:00 pm Friday night and arrived at Shane and Jody at 7:00am Saturday morning. We made it, but not a wise decision on our part to leave that night. We kept telling Scott, "don't ever do this yourself, this is really stupid."! As they say, "kids do as your parent's say, not as they do!" It did all work out, for which we are very thankful. They ended up with a lot of snow in Milwaukee. Coming home on Sunday the sun was out and the roads were perfect.

It's been awhile since I've "heard" from some of the rest of you on this blog. (hint, hint) :)
