Hi from Pella

Hi everyone,

I know the Lord worked things out for Shane to get his surgery scheduled so quickly, but I have to admit it still seems like we've been waiting a long time.

I know his surgery isn't until Wed morning but for me it feels like tomorrow we can finally do something about it, although I know it isn't much. But....tomorrow night after Jana's game vs. Pella we are taking off for Milwaukee, so in my mind I feel like tomorrow is the start of things. We can't wait to see them and give them both a Big hug. Jody keeps telling me I can't cry all the time, so we'll see if I can "suck it up". :)

We are so thankful we can make the trip and that Den was able to get out of attending Board Meetings at Pella Corp those days.

Our plans are now that Lord willing Shane will be doing good and that Friday morning we can take off to get back in time for Jana's Home coming events at 1:00 on Friday. I then plan to go back sometime the next week or so depending on when I would be most helpful for Jody and Shane.

I know you are all keeping Jody and Shane and us in your thoughts and prayers and for that we are extremely grateful. Keep it up, especially on Wed morning!
