Well, I went to the doctor today and they ran a bunch more blood work. She said she was doing that to run out other things and of course see if the acetate phosphates in my liver were still high. Those things are causing me alot of grief and I don't even know what they do! I have a liver/gallbladder ultrasound scheduled for 7:45 am on Tuesday. She said with all the information that I gave her it sounds like it could be my gallbladder. She said I am having all the classic signs especially the throwing up in the middle of the night. She told me to watch my diet this weekend as if it is the gallbladder she didn't want me to have an attack which would result in surgery. That would mean they would have to cut me open and i would have a 5 day hospital stay - where as if they schedule the surgery (if it is the gallbaldder) they could do it laprascopicly. (I know that isn't spelled right but it is about 1AM and it is the best I could do) Anyway, the ultrasound should show if the gallbladder is the cause of the high liver tests of if there is something more going on.
I also discussed the allergic reaction that i have been having and she said to continue with the rest of the steroids that my old doctor prescribed and use the zyrtec medication for another 30 days. She hopes that will suprress it enought that they don't have to do allergy testing becasue most times they never figure out what causes it and people just end up on low dose steroids anyway. So time will tell on that one.... I'll keep you all posted.
It will be a fun weekend. Dad, Mom, Den and Arla come up tomorrow for dinner and then I am going to LIfelight. Sharla is taking Heather along later in the afternoon so Heather and Iwill hang out together. Then they will go back to Chandler but Deidra and 3 friends will be coming back to the apartment with me to sleep. Then I will bring them back to Lifelight on Sunday morning for another day of the festival.
Shane and Jody --- you can sure drive down and attend it and spend the night also :) I know I have seen you at it in the past Jody. Wouldn't it be fun!
Love ya all, Vonda
