Pella news

Hi everyone,

We had a great week last week. Den and I went to Milwaukee for a few days and spent time with Jody and Shane. Den worked one day in Greenbay and spent the other day with me in Milwaukee. Jody and Shane worked during the days but we did a few projects around the house and then got to spend the evenings with them. It was a great time.

Friday and Saturday Jana played in a team volleyball camp. She got to play all the way around and had fun playing once again. She says her knee feels good.....of course she probably wouldn't tell us if it didn't! :)

Friday Jody and Shane and the folks drove in for Jana's profession of faith on Sunday. It was a great day celebrating with about 120 family and friends at lunch at the youth house after the service. So nice Jody and Shane and the folks could make it!!

We move Scott into his apartment at Drake on Friday and he starts classes on Monday. We are thrilled that he found out he could live with a guy from Pella that he knows from playing basketball against and with over the past years, as he went to Pella High. Nice kid from a nice family. an answer to prayers knowing that he will have some one to live with that he knows and who has gone there for three years so will know the ropes so to speak. Scott is excited to go so that's nice!

End of August is always a transition time for me. Hard to see the kids going off to school again. I miss them and their friends....it gets awfully quiet around here.
