Grandma always says to keep posting on the blog even if there isn't much new going on. Well, I guess this is one of those times. There is not much new in Orange City. I do not have class on Monday and Tuesday because of Fall Break, so that means I didn't do any homework today (which is really rare for Saturdays). Instead, Jess and I were just lazy. We did, however, go to Pumpkin Land and buy a couple pumpkins to carve. Below are some pictures of out "artistic" abilities...
Yes, we used a power tool (no old fashioned carving for us)! I think my Dad would be pretty proud of me... :)
Jess' imitation of his pumpkin's face (you can obviously see where he got his inspiration...).
Jess with his scary pumpkin, and me with my eye-rolling (sarcastic) pumpkin (fits well, don't you think?). :)
Well, besides our pumpkin carving adventures, the only other exciting thing in our lives is that we are anxiously awaiting the birth of our first niece! Jess' brother and his wife (Seth and Rebecca) should be welcoming their baby girl into the world any day now and we are growing very impatient and very excited to finally hear the news! I am sure I will let you all know when we finally become an uncle and aunt!
Hope everyone is doing well! Love you all!
