Hi everyone,

Jana had a tournament in Ames today with all 3A or 4 A schools. They won 2nd place! Our setter had to leave for the last two matches of the day for a funeral so we ended up having 3 of our 6 girls playing different positions than what they are used to, so to get 2nd was very good. I'm sure we could have won it if everyone could have played their normal positions....but that's the way it goes.
Jana's knee is doing great...she had a great tournament.

Next Saturday we play at Iowa City at 11:00 and it's also the HUGE rival game in Iowa City of IA city vs Iowa State in football also starting at 11:00 The team is planning on leaving at 5:00am to beat the traffic. Where the girls play is right by the football stadium. I guess the traffic is horrendous.

Den and I took his mustang out for a ride around town. We're starting to be like all those old people who just ride around with nothing better to do. :) Den is like a child with a toy....he loves his mustang. I'm glad he enjoys it.


Delaine how did SW do today? You had a tough tournament today too right?

Vonda, sorry you are having to wait over the weekend for you test results.
