updates from Pella

Hi guys,

I so enjoy reading the blog, so I figured it's about time I write something again.

Mom, I'm glad you are able to go along with Dad on all his business trips and also that you can take in so many of your grandkid's activities. That's great!

Deidra....you look awesome in volleyball. Hopefully, maybe next year or the next, after Jana is finished with all her high school sports Den and I can make it down to watch you and Travis in some of your high school sporting events!

Danielle....sorry no turtles but sounded like you had fun anyway! So glad to hear you guys are making it back for Christmas!!!! Have you talked your folks into flying down to see you when the baby comes? :)

Vonda...is the rash staying away? Hope so!

Jana's team is undefeated in the conference yet at this time. They miss Hannah but are still doing very well. Jana plays in Des Moines this Saturday and it's Pella Adventureland Day so we may go to that after her tournament or Jana noticed that #2 Nebraska is playing IA State in Ames Saturday night and tickets are only $1.00 so we may go to that if she's not in the mood for Adventureland. We went to the Neb vs IA State game last year and the level of volleyball is unbelievable.....lots of fun to watch. The average height for the NE hitters last year were 6ft 5in. tall!

Scott is thinking of coming to watch some of Jana's games on Saturday so that will be really nice. Jana has enjoyed having him be able to watch a couple of games this year as he's never been able to do that before. Jody and Shane have made it down several times over the years too, so it's nice when the older siblings can watch some of her activities since she was always able to watch theirs.

I just received our wedding pictures from the photographer yesterday. They turned out great! It's so fun to have them displayed in our living room.

Sandy, I hope your job continues to go well for you. I'm sure you are great at it!

Well....take care everyone!

Love,
Arla
